Facebook, Christians and Horoscopes

So I’m here thinking how I have seen a fast growing interest in daily horoscopes here on facebook but what trips me out the most are those many who profess to be Christians who are taking comfort in or seeking the wisdom from the stars and the universe not realizing that they are engaging in blatant paganism and a mystical form of witchcraft and in doing so they worship things that are made instead of the One who made it, worshipping creation instead of the Creator and fulfilling (Rom. 1:22-25) especially verse 25…which reads:

“22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.”

Saints, only God controls our daily lives and its outcomes, the things He created are just that creation and have no bearing on your destiny. The constellations in the stars are Gods created order that was made merely for traveling and knowing the change of seasons. You want to be at peace and have assurance of your life? Then READ HIS WORD which is a lamp to your feet and truly guides your life’s path in everyway………

Psalm 119:105
“105 Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.”

You want daily wisdom to bring you knowledge? Seek the Almighty Gods Wisdom found ONLY in His scriptures………..

Psalm 51:6
“Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.”

Psalm 11:10
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!”

Proverbs 1:1-7
1:1 The proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel:

2 To know wisdom and instruction,
to understand words of insight,
3 to receive instruction in wise dealing,
in righteousness, justice, and equity;
4 to give prudence to the simple,
knowledge and discretion to the youth—
5 Let the wise hear and increase in learning,
and the one who understands obtain guidance,
6 to understand a proverb and a saying,
the words of the wise and their riddles.
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 2:6
“For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;”

Take heed saints, I speak to you in truth and in love

Grace n Peace
